The first step to getting across the river required that we transfer to Pansodan Jetty for take ferry boat to Dala, the area attached to the jetty terminal also functions like most markets in Yangon, serving the hundreds of locals who commute from Dala to Yangon each day (during the day the ferry leaves every 20 minutes). Upon arriving on Dala, take a trishaw and visit to Shwe Sayan Pagoda, small fisherman village, candle making workshop, recycle of plastic workshop and monastic education school. You can enjoy the rural view of the town despite of the fact the town is only on the other side of the river. After sightseeing in Dala, take ferry back to Yangon and transfer back to your hotel in Yangon downtown. read more read less

And then continue to Kanbawza Thadi – The heart of ancient Hanthaweddy was the Kanbawza Thadi and the original Palace was built by King Bayintnaung in 1556. It is said that the original palace had 76 apartments. It was burnt down in 1599. We then visit to Kyaik Pun Pagoda, known for its four towering images sitting back to back with slightly different facial expressions and being visible from far away in the open air without shelter. After sightseeing those interesting place, visit to Bulaeinn villa which is approximately 1 ½ s from Yangon and 30 min from Bago. And then relax your free time at villa. It was an important trading center in the 17th Century under the Portuguese Adventurer De Brito. Today, Than-lyin is noted for its Deep Sea Port Projects in Thilawa. Tour highlights; Ruins of the old Portuguese Churches in the center of town, the ruins of a Catholic church built by an Italian Barnabite missionary can still be seen, Kyaik-Khauk Pagoda; it perches on the hillock of the town, an imposing golden stupa similar to the Shwedagon with a history dated back over 2,000 years. The two tombs in front of the pagoda are Myanmar writers Natshinnaung and Padethayaza who wrote about ordinary people in Ava period and were captured by Mon. Later, proceeds to Kyauk-Tan Pagoda (a Pagoda on a small island on a tributary of Yangon’s river), on the way, stop at Bada-Gyi village, to see 41 feet high, 100 years old, huge Seated Buddha Image.
